Made of North American black walnut, this deep brown box has a hint of purple, with grain patterns that vary from straight to wavy, making each piece unique. The four corners of the box and the edges of the lid are rounded, so there are no sharp edges when held in the palm of your hand. A thin layer of wood wax oil is applied to the surface, leaving the natural warmth of the wood rather than the gloss of lacquer. Over time, the color will deepen.

The lid is held open by a metal hinge, opening and closing naturally. When closed, the lid is flush with the box, with a fine and even seam. The interior is lined with off-white velvet, soft and non-scratching to metal. The ring holder is a raised recess secured with a ribbon, keeping the ring upright when the box is open. Whether stored in a drawer or carried on your person, the ring won't wobble.

The lining is interchangeable in off-white, champagne, navy, dark green, or black; the ring holder can also be changed to a double-groove design for wedding rings or a velvet cushion. The box lid can be laser engraved with names, dates, or even a short phrase; font and size are optional. How to care for a wooden ring box?

Avoid direct sunlight, high temperatures in bathrooms and cars; do not wipe with alcohol or a damp cloth, simply wipe with a dry cloth. If the surface becomes dry, apply a small amount of wood wax oil, spread it evenly, and let it sit. Wood will slightly expand and contract with ambient humidity, so please avoid damp places for long-term storage.
